I've had many psychic readings over the years and the majority of psychic readings I've received were fairly solid. That is, the psychic did a reasonably good job of assessing where I was in my life and what challenges might lie ahead. These psychic readings, however, contained no information that could not be gleaned from simple observation and guess work on the part of the psychic. I've also, however, received a few psychic readings that simply took my breath away. The psychics who gave those readings seemed to know me and my future before I even opened my mouth.
One psychic told me the moment I sat down at her table. "You'll adopt a new cat by the end of the year. That will make four." She could have guessed I was a cat lover from my shirt with a cat embroidered on it. But how could she have known the exact number of cats I owned? Another psychic told me bluntly, "This will be the worst year of your life. I don't know that you'll even survive it. But if you do, you'll be all right. Everything will fall into place." He was right. During that year, I faced the loss of my job, my best friend's death, my mother's cancer diagnosis, and my own health problems. By the time the anniversary of that psychic reading rolled around, however, I was back on my feet and stronger than ever before. Psychic readings can be a lot of fun. Not all of them will be accurate or inspired, but every so often, you're bound to encounter a psychic whose insight and accuracy will amaze you. |
