Law of Attraction is a school of thought which believes in identification of one’s aim and thinking towards its fulfillment. Thinking does not merely mean intensive thinking about the goal, but its realization. The Law of Attraction which came up in the late 19th century also states that we are capable of bringing about remarkable changes in our lives, through effective thought management and rightful utilization of our positive energies. The Law of Attraction, which has already been associated with theories like Quantum Physics and big names like William Walker Watkinson is now being covered in a movie. In 2006, “The Secret” was made centering on the different principles of the Law of Attraction. The Secret, directed by Rhonda Byrne, who is an ardent follower of the Law of Attraction, shows that one can achieve in life what one, wants by adhering to the principles in the Law of Attraction.
The film” The Secret” is a 90 minute documentary consisting of mainly interviews of renowned personalities who unravel the secret of their survival in the universe. “The Secret” shows at length how mental power can help an individual in making his dream come true. The film” The Secret” shows explicitly how the Law of Attraction has been carried through ages to influence the course of success different ways. The film” The Secret” which was telecast in two episodes of The Oprah Winfrey Show showed how people in highly challenging situations, used their inner strength and grit to overcome the adversities in life and reach what the Law of Attraction refers to the purpose of life. Oprah’s show on the film has created a massive awareness among people for the Law of Attraction. The media coverage has led to steady rise in the sale of books and DVDs of the movie. More and more people are becoming interested to know about it and to apply the philosophy to influence their lives. |
